FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I receive from customers. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out and I'll get back to you shortly.

  • Are your cookies made with love? It's more a mélange of love, sass, and spite. But if by love you mean butter, yes that's real butter.

  • Is your kitchen gluten-free? Do you offer gluten-free cookies? I do not currently offer gluten-free cookies and my kitchen is not wheat flour-free. I do offer the "Fuck-it-Alls" which are considered gluten-sensitive.

  • I am allergic to some ingredients. Are your cookies safe for me to eat? I list all of the ingredients for each recipe- please reference the "Order Online" page. Please note that cross-contamination may occur as I have many recipes with wheat, eggs, nuts, dairy, etc. Please message me directly if you are at all unsure or need more clarification.

  • Where are your products baked? I operate out of a commercial-style kitchen in the basement of my home and sell according to the 10/2/2017 Wisconsin cottage food ruling regarding the sale of potentially non-hazardous baked goods. All of my products are made in a private home not subject to state licensing or inspection.

  • Can you cater events? No. However, with enough notice I can put together large platters of cookies for events which I will sell directly to you. I can comfortably accommodate events of around 100-150 people. Please contact me directly if this is something you're interested in.

  • Why don't you offer X, Y, or Z flavor cookies? I only offer recipes which I have thoroughly tested and refined into a superior cookie. If you have suggestions for flavors I should consider, please let me know.

  • Do you ship? I do not offer shipping, as the cost is prohibitive. If you'd like to buy homemade cookies and are outside the Madison area, please consider purchasing from another home baker in your area.
